As the situation develops it is important to source information from official bodies, such as the government and the NHS. Those with SCI may be at higher risk of serious illness as a result of contracting the virus. This is a very difficult time for everyone and nsif as a charitable organisation is not immune from this. Most of our funds are raised through events. As question marks remain over whether these events will be able to proceed, there is a real possibility that this vital source of income may disappear. We are closely reviewing official guidance from the government and relevant authorities. If you have registered for one of our upcoming events, we will be in contact shortly.
Despite the ongoing situation, our goal of funding research into developing a cure for paralysis remains our absolute priority. Your support in reaching this goal has never been more important. Over the coming weeks we will be sharing ideas of how you can help the charity online and from home.
