Why work with NSIF

It is estimated that 2,500 people in the UK are injured or diagnosed with a spinal cord injury each year. Our aim is to find a cure for paralysis from spinal injury. This could not only restore the chance for SCI patients to live independently but would represent a huge long-term cost saving to national healthcare. By partnering with NSIF you are helping to fund the continuation of vital research which will one day lead to a biological cure for paralysis from spinal cord injury.

Charity partnerships don’t just benefit the charity – they can also benefit your staff. In a 2019 study, the Charities Aid Foundation found a boost in employee morale when staff were encouraged to donate and volunteer their time to charity. There are many different ways a business can support a charity ranging from a one off donation, to staff volunteering their time & skills in a way that can benefit the charity’s mission.
