Long-term supporter of nsif, Angela Pye, was recently interviewed as part of Siemens Gamesa’s International Women’s Week campaign. For those of you that aren’t aware of Angela’s story, at the age of 15 her son, Steven, went to bed with mild backache and awoke the next morning paralysed from the chest down. The cause was subsequently confirmed as a viral infection.
Following this, Angela and her family set out to do all they could for Steven to walk again and this led them to nsif. Since they began supporting the charity in 2011, Angela and her family have raised over £103,000.
We are incredibly grateful for the long-term support of Angela and her family. To read her full story, click here.
