On Sunday 17th October, Claire Lomas MBE was joined by a team of thirty runners as she took on the Great South Run. The 10-mile course took the team through the streets of Portsmouth and Southsea, which were packed out with cheering crowds. Many, including Claire, achieved a personal best on the course.
The evening before the race, Team Claire enjoyed a ‘Pasta Party’, with games and a speech from Claire. Many of those that took part hadn’t met before the event, but the weekend provided plenty of opportunities to make new friends and running buddies.
We would like to say a BIG thank you to Claire and all of the runners that helped raise over £10,000 for nsif.
